Full Job Description
Lentz Fertilizer, an agricultural supply company, seeking a full-time/part-time, seasonal tender truck driver.
Candidates for these positions must have a Class B CDL or be willing to obtain a Farm CDL
before hiring. Applicant must provide a clean driving record upon hire. Preferred applicants would be reliable, self-starters, and capable of heavy lifting. This position involves occasional customer service. Applicants must possess a helpful and courteous attitude towards customers. Applicants must have the availability to work long hours during the week and Saturdays during the peak busy season. Every seasonal employee is eligible for an end-of-season bonus should their performance be satisfactory and they stay until the end of the season. To ensure a successful season, the employee will assist in operational activities as directed by the manager. This position will require a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, and technical skills.

Qualifications
● High school degree or equivalent.
● Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
● Class B CDL required or willing to obtain a Farm CDL.
● Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and
regulations.

Key Responsibilities
● Assist in operational day-to-day tasks involving fertilizer.
● Deliver fertilizer to customers.
● Loading and unloading products.
● Perform cleanouts on fertilizer equipment.
● Assist in preventative equipment maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations,
checking batteries, changing filters, changing fluids, and lubrication.
