Lentz Fertilizer is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant
to join our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Assistant at our dry fertilizer
company, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse
operations and supporting delivery processes. You will be responsible
for loading and unloading fertilizer bins and trucks, maintaining the
cleanliness of the warehouse, and ensuring timely delivery of fertilizer
products to farmers.
Lentz Fertilizer will also train an individual wanting to fulfill this role.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading fertilizer bins onto trucks and unloading deliveries of fertilizer products. 
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping and ensuring safe storage of products. 
• Order Fulfillment: Assist in loading fertilizer orders for delivery to farmers, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch. 
• Product Delivery: Deliver fertilizer to local farmers and unload their orders at the destination. 
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while handling fertilizer and operating warehouse equipment. 
• Inventory Support: Assist in tracking inventory levels and restocking when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety and equipment handling. 

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• A CDL or willing to obtain a Farm CDL.

• Reliability and attention to detail. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. 
• Familiarity with various blending equipment, such as mixers, conveyors, and scales is a positive.

• Physical ability to lift and move bags or containers of fertilizer/chemical components up to 50 lbs.

• Commitment to safety and adherence to relevant regulations and protocols.
